Tells
Balatro is about your hand, TELLS is about theirs.
TELLS is a poker game where the cards are the easy part. You sit at a No-Limit Hold’em table with five masked opponents, and each one plays like a type of player you’ve met at a real table: the Nit who waits for premium hands, the Maniac who raises everything, the Limper who calls along, the Station who never folds. Your job isn’t only to win chips. It’s to figure out who you’re sitting with.
How it works
- Play real Hold’em. Full No-Limit rules, real betting and real bluffs, at a 6-seat table.
- Read the table. Watch how each opponent bets, then tag every seat with the style you think they play. Change your tags as the reads shift.
- Call the Table. When you’re ready, lock in your reads. The masks drop one by one.
- Get rewarded for reading people. Name every seat right for a Perfect Read bonus. Miss one and you still clear the room. Miss two and the run ends.
- Back yourself with Ink. Confident about a seat? Ink it for bonus points, but a wrong ink costs you.

Why TELLS is different
Most poker games are about stacking chips. In TELLS, reading people is how you win. Every opponent has a consistent, distinct style built from real poker player types, so a good read is a skill you can actually learn.
What’s in this build
This is an early prototype: one room (the Kitchen Table), three possible lineups each time you sit down, and placeholder art.
Coming later: a 7-room run, bosses with weaknesses to uncover, relics & items that make your run easier and a lot more.

Help us make it better
When you finish a run, tap “Give feedback” on the end screen. It takes about 2 minutes and goes straight to the developer.
Free to play. No real money, no in-game purchases.
Anonymous run data is shared with the developer to improve the game.

This isn't a roguelike.
I suggest you play "Rogue" to understand what a roguelike is.
